Booked last-minute for a quiet week away following family bereavement. Enjoyed being away from the major tourist areas yet within easy reach of some popular scenic areas of the Lakes. The bungalow was comfortable, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Some of the furnishing and decor was a little tired and drab, especially in the lounge with the curtains drawn, and did not feel altogether 'cosy'. Could do with a 'refresh' on curtains, carpets, wallpaper and upholstery and perhaps some brighter colours. But it did the job, was warm and very clean, with all the facilities needed.

Lovely cottage. Good facilities and ample amount of utensils. Only issue was that the washing machine broke before we got there and didn't get replaced until after we had left. We did call to check when it was coming but had no reply, so not the best to try and wash clothes for 4 people in the bath tub. Otherwise, nice gardens and nice place to stay.
