This is a lovely cottage and I have stayed here many times but this will be my last time. Unfortunately parking has become an issue if you have two cars (which we did) or your car is too big to go into the cottage parking bay. Locals were up in arms about where we parked and the nearby car park (which is meant for day visitors climbing Blencathra) was often full. I, for one, don’t want that sort of hassle especially when I am on holiday. There are plenty of other good places to stay.
