Comfortable cottage on a hill. Situated between two large houses in a small village (not Portinscale as advertised). The cottage ground floor is open plan housing kitchen and living area with television. Kitchen is pretty much full equipped with the exception of a washing machine. Would have been handy given we were there for a week and out walking. Bedrooms and bathroom are on upper floor. Spacious with storage for clothes, etc. Bathroom has large shower. Dormer windiws on upper floor let in plenty of light. Easy access from back of village to pleasant walk through woods. Care needed when driving to and from cottage as road is single car width only and twists and turns.

Very comfy cottage in good location. Parking right outside the door. Very clean, no complaints at all. Nice one and a half mile walk through forest to next village for pub.
