A lovely, romantic, cosy and intimate lodge. Located within easy walking distance of the popular village of Hawkshead.

This beautiful, apartment style lodge has everything you need for a romantic break in the lakes. The open plan layout consists of a comfy double bed, with dining table and kitchenette. There is also a separate shower room. The lodge is well lit from the double doors which open to a private and secluded space with outdoor dining option and fire pit. The lodge is set within approximately half an acre of grounds.
The location is ideal with the beautiful village of Hawkshead just a short stroll away, offering a selection of shops, cafes, and pubs, and the Beatrix Potter Gallery, featuring original paintings by the famous author. Also, within easy walking distance is the beautiful Esthwaite water. Lama Lodge provides an ideal base from which to access other popular attractions in the South Lakeland area with popular towns such as Coniston, Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness all within 30-minute drive. Whether you visit the Lakes to enjoy its stunning beauty by walking, cycling or climbing throughout this spectacular landscape or you want to enjoy water sports such as sailing or paddleboarding, there are plenty of active pursuits on offer.
For those who prefer more culturally based pastimes, there are stunning gardens, galleries or historic buildings like Wray Castle or maybe visit one of the many Michelin starred restaurants in the area.
