The apartment was excellent and well equipped. However the site was advertised as having a swimming pool (which we knew was closed as stated on website), table tennis and shop. Table tennis closed and there was no shop on site. Tarnside flat info sheet also said shop and pub ten min walk, which was correct there was a pub and shop (but it was a gift shop), down a very stony and steep descent which we would not attempt in the dark, even with a torch. if you are arriving late make sure you have enough provisions for the evening and following morning.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a lovely cottage and really well equipped. Everything was very clean and nicely presented. It was perfect for a family of four.
