Very spacious, well-equipped and cosy. Nicer in real life than photos - views from front are particularly good. Loved the bathroom with heated floor and deep bath and wet room style shower. Fun to spend time in the conservatory in the evening with the log burner. We saw red squirrels, partridges and bull finches and blue tits in the garden (and a deer one morning!). Perfect location for exploring area. Short trip to Keswick which had lovely independent shops and cafes. Pooley Bridge and Glenridding are very small but have a few pubs and small shops. Heating + hot water controls took a little while to get the hang of and some may find the double bed on the small size but everything was clean and the top twin bedroom is very sweet.
