Furniture needs updating, old model tv so we couldn’t use a fire stick. No towels provided so had to spend £30 on towels. Creaking kitchen floor. Iighting needs upgrading . Best room in house was the bathroom. When raining the path in front of the back door floods. Been in many rented cottages etc over the years and this is probably the worst.

A well set up property, we wanted for nothing. Parking is good, location is on the outskirts of town, just far enough away to be quiet but only a level 10 minute walk to town and parks. Walked Latrigg from the door, cycled the railway path from the door by accessing it at the back of the Shell garage. Well stocked shop there too. Nice and quiet, slept very well, all round excellent.

A great place to stay. Not far from the town but not noisy. Out the door and on to the Fell.
