We would highly recommend this lovely little cottage within the owners small holding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was made so very welcome and comfortable. The balcony overlooking parts of the forest and the valley in between meant you heard such lovely sounds of nature echoing through and was able to watch the owls, buzzards and ravens. The location is ideal for local forest walks and driving distance to an abundance of activities for all ages and abilities.

Lovely quirky accommodation. Clean, comfy but decidedly neat as would be expected for a converted hayloft. Beautiful patio views and the owners are welcoming and friendly. The farm dogs are very sociable and happy to have walks in the surrounding forest.

fantastic weeks holiday the Hayloft is the perfect location to unwind, relax and enjoy the English countryside. Lots to do if you want it and a walkers dream come true. Hosts David & Sandi were there when you needed them and left you to enjoy the location when you didn't.

The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location is extremely beautiful once sat on the balcony however not the easiest of tracks to get up in a normal car, it's a dirt/loose gravel track for about 3/4 mile with numerous potholes. Supermarket is 10 minutes drive and no amenities within walking distance. The cottage itself us exactly as described, very peaceful other than the sheep, lambs and farmers dogs waking you up at all hours of the night. If you are looking to have a nice long lie in whilst on holiday this place probably isn't for you however we loved taking off in the car each day discovering towns and villages. Perfect area for walkers. The bathroom is extremely compact, powerful shower with plenty of hot water although no space to move in the shower if you are of a taller build.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to confirm that the pot holes and uneven surface on the gravel track have now been repaired.
