A beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage set in a gorgeous and peaceful location. Ideal for anyone wanting to "get away from it all".

Lovely loft accommodation on a farm with fabulous views. The owners are very warm and friendly and we loved their dogs.

The Hayloft was the most relaxing of places with the birds & sheep bleating the only noises to wake you in the morning. Wonderful walks through The Forest of Dean right from your doorstep and many attractions nearby. The owners of The Hayloft are a lovely friendly couple and told us of walks from the cottage. The place itself was wonderfully equipped with all you could need for a holiday. The only slight downside was that there is a long track of over a mile to get down to the farm itself but that meant that you were so peaceful once you had got there and the views from your own balcony/patio over the forest are to die for. If you love wildlife and peace this is the place for you.

Lovely, friendly and helpful people and a great place to relax. the Hayloft is well equipped and well cared for. Not for anyone who wants to be "entertained" but great for walking and enjoying what the local area has to offer in the way of scenery and wildlife.

Totally love The Hayloft! Was just perfect for me as a single person but would suit a couple too. Having the balcony was brilliant as it was like having an extra room. The Hayloft is lovely and remote but only a 2 minute drive from the local amenities including a supermarket and fast food outlets. The area is jam-packed with places to visit and walk/cycle routes. Dave and Sandi will help out with anything you need; perfect hosts. A lovely location and getting welcomed by such beautiful doggies every day was heart warming. I'm going back again this year.

Relaxing break at The Hayloft, however the lack of even basic provisions was disappointing. Loft was comfortable but extremely cosy - the saving grace was the patio area it fabulous views over the valley. Also no WiFi made researching places to visit & weather more tricky.

Fantastic location, wonderful cottage had everything we needed. Great hosts friendly yet unobtrusive. A real haven, a place to get away from it all. Fantastic area for walking and getting back to nature. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely place to stay with plenty of walks without having to drive anywhere. We saw loads of wildlife, nesting nuthatches, owls, bats & deer just up the track at dusk and lots of birds at local nature reserves. We heard wild boar one evening walk too but didn't get close enough to see them. Some reviewers commented on the track, but we found it fine in a Ford Focus. It's the kind of gravel road you drive up to get to many country park or forestry commission woods.
