We were a group of two couples and two elderly sisters meeting up for a special birthday celebration. The sisters live in different parts of the country and we're meeting up for the first time in several years. We chose this cottage as it looked spacious, had four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms, a shower room and separate toilet were on the ground floor making it ideal for one of our party with mobility problems. The cottage was very clean , warm and comfortable. Very well equipped. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and overall the cottage was a lovely place to meet up with family to enjoy a few days holiday.

We had a lovely time at the Mill House, despite being snowed in for a couple of days. The house is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. Obviously being very rural you don’t have the level of amenities you might get elsewhere, although I’d hope that should be pretty obvious to most people! It certainly wasn’t an issue for us. Most of all, the owner was wonderfully welcoming and very helpful. We left some tea towels which we’d brought along just in case, only to find them returned in the post a couple of days after we got back without even having realised we’d left them behind!

We had a family holiday - three generations - in this lovely and comfortable home. Fabulous location to explore pretty towns and especially the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the property - no expense spared for lovely quality, all beautifully clean, and owner Liz was incredibly friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again some time!
