We had a lovely stay at Moorhens Cottage- we took our dog "Lennie" and found the walks and the lakes brilliant for him and us to enjoy. The estate is very beautifully finished in Cotswold style. With all accommodation looking different but in keeping with the theme. It was a great base to visit the pretty Cotswold towns of Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury. There were great pubs in the local area to enjoy in the evening and a bonus to have The Bakers Arms within walking distance. The Wheatsheaf at Oaksey worth a visit - we enjoyed Sunday lunch and steak night Thursday. We will definitely be returning.

We had such a lovely time! Perfect for kids and our puppy, meant we as parents got to relax, sit at the restaurant and have a really lovely meal, while our puppy ran about on the grass and our kids played in the play area and made friends. The outside heated pool was amazing! Warm, clean and close! Can’t wait to go back and do more. Highly recommend for families. House was perfectly located, cosy, had everything we needed and worked really well for us as a family. Thanks Pete! See you again soon.

Just come back from a week at Moorhens with our 3 year old and chocolate lab. The cottage is lovely. Really clean and has everything you need. There were great safety options for the 3 year old. Also lots of lovely extra touches like the Processco in the fridge and great DVD selection. Lots of things to do at Cotswolds Water Park and also lots to do within a short car journey. We would definitely come back!

Lovely setting but amenities were ok if you wanted to bike or boat. As a fly fisherman I was very disappointed that there was no bank to fish from , the back cast was not accounted for even if it were possible to get to the water. A working shop would have been good because of convenience, we had to drive offsite when we would have preferred no to. That said we were late season and enjoyed the walking immensely. KT

Lovely time staying at Moorhens. It was perfect for a base as exploring the walks the Cotswolds have to offer. Really clean and comfortable, with spacious living and dining room. Even with six adults it didn't feel cramped!
