We had a wonderful long weekend break and the spa tickets which were available at a discount price made it a very relaxing time for us all.

Very dissapointed with the dishwasher not working, multitude of wires on extension leads around the TV, the drains were smelling for 2 days, rugs in the lounge weren't clean , things stored under beds , not enough glasses, fridge light wasn't working and the door didn't shut properly, plinth in the kitchen was coming away, bin was broken. Such a pity because the cottage itself could be lovely and the area is great.

Excellent experience. Beautiful location and the cottage is in a nice setting in mill village. Only slight negatives were ran out of loo rolls quickly (and the on site shop was very small with limited stock and expensive) and bath towels were not great . Otherwise would highly recommend and the owner, Pete, was always responsive and helpful.

This is a cosy cottage, and in a good location for a family who like outdoor activities, as oldies this did not appeal to us personally. The cottage itself is nicely furnished although well used and not equipped well enough to self cater for us. The estate is well run and has nice walks nearby although it took us a few days to find them, more local information would have been helpful. We had a good response from the owner when we had a problem. We thought that for a couple the cottage was pricey and would benefit from a reduction for under occupancy. Wifi was a bonus but we had no phone signal in the property. This is a good location for touring the Cotswolds which we enjoyed and was the reason for our choice.

We had a lovely stay at Moorhens Cottage- we took our dog "Lennie" and found the walks and the lakes brilliant for him and us to enjoy. The estate is very beautifully finished in Cotswold style. With all accommodation looking different but in keeping with the theme. It was a great base to visit the pretty Cotswold towns of Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury. There were great pubs in the local area to enjoy in the evening and a bonus to have The Bakers Arms within walking distance. The Wheatsheaf at Oaksey worth a visit - we enjoyed Sunday lunch and steak night Thursday. We will definitely be returning.
