Cottage was lovely and the setting was wonderful, the lanes leading to and from the cottage need to be driven with great care as narrow and steep in parts. But well worth the end result when you got to the cottage.

Attention to detail is required. I had to ring owner several times to get him to show us how to use the central heating boiler (no up to date instructions). Oven door glass kept slipping out when grilling food. Fridge door didn't close properly and our food was icy and wet. Dirty saucepans in the cupboard and a lack of teaspoons. Duvets were very thin and no extra bedding provided . The property generally was fine and the location was very convenient, even though it wasn't easy to find the first day.

A wonderful cottage. The place was spotless when we arrived, with the owners leaving both a pint of milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge as a gift - very thoughtful. Just a 20 minute drive straight into Bath town centre, the property is near enough to enjoy the sights of Bath but to go back to a lovely country retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for renting out your cottage 😊
