Lovely cottage in lovely location. However, we did find it fairly cold especially upstairs but I guess that would be due to the stone walls. Had a lovely log burner but took a long time to warm up but once it did, was very cosy. Unfortunately the bed was very soft and I am used to a hard mattress so didn’t sleep much. I think it would be beneficial to put on the website about the drive - unless you have a 4 x 4 or high base car you cannot get in/out the drive. Also it would have been handy to know that, although it is dog friendly they are not allowed to exercise or go to the loo in the garden. It was a wet and windy weekend when we stayed so not much fun having to go down the road each time the dog needed to go! I think if we had gone on a warm, sunny weekend it would have been a different story!

We stayed at Holliers Cottage over Christmas with our dog and we absolutely loved it. The cottage itself was immaculate and very cosy! A welcome pack was provided which was really useful and covered absolutely everything. We loved snuggling up by the fire watching movies and the kitchen was so well set up (I'd actually brought some things from home just in case which I never needed), we never felt the need to eat out. Our dog in particular loved the under floor heating. I bumped into the owner one day who was very welcoming and let us know not to hesitate if there was anything we needed. Overall a perfect little get away and we would love to return!

Lovely secluded cottage with own parking and private garden. Well maintained house with lots of caring touches by the owners, including own eggs, apple juice and homemade brownies. Everything you need is thought of and house is spotlessly clean. We particularly liked the contemporary style and underfloor heating was very cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.
