Inconvenient having to walk from cottage to car . ( if raining ) Storage space for guests food was limited . One wardrobe for two bedrooms could be an issue . Lovely reception from owner and the CAKE was amazing. Comfy cottage with views to die for .

The Stables was the perfect accommodation from which to explore the numerous National Trust properties, Historic Houses and English Heritage site in the area. Having stayed in numerous rented properties during the last thirty years or so, this, in our opinion, was the best, which is high praise indeed. It was simply perfect. Thank you Juliet for making us feel really welcome.

Very elegant property, beautifully done. We were a couple, plus friend and in order to access the bathroom and double bedroom we had to walk through the twin bedroom which was a bit inconvenient and, more pertinently, should have been mentioned.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you. I have now made sure this is mentioned before hand.

We had a fabulous time at the Stables - it's a fantastic space and was very suitable for us as a family. The property is beautiful with a great view from the sitting room, very clean and spacious. We stayed so we could be close to Silverstone for the racing and it was an excellent base to do that. We especially enjoyed the Sonos system and the cake that was made for us on arrival!

For us this was the best cottage we have rented in our 23 years of self catering. We really loved it. Alot of places promise welcome packs but never deliver. The home made cake (delicious - my husband had devoured it within the first 2 days), milk and fresh duck/hen eggs - just such a lovely touch. The cottage is beside the owners home (who are very lovely and approachable) but it is still very private with great views over the countryside. Clean, lovely decor and finishes with attention to detail, log fire for the cooler days and loved the sonos system. Great location with easy access to all neighbouring counties and London. Highly recommended. We are fans of this cottage!

Loved this cottage but not quite private enough for us, over looked to much by the main house.
