The prosperous market town of Romsey is 7 miles, and being the larger of the two towns, it has all of the above and more. Romsey also has an independent department store, supermarket and a magnificent Norman Abbey dating back to 907AD. Just outside the town and set in extensive parkland is the 18th century mansion of Broadlands, the former home of Lord Palmerston and the late Lord Louis Mountbatten. Broadlands is open to the public July and August, as well as hosting a range of shows, concerts and events throughout the year. We absolutely loved our stay at the old meeting hall. The accommodation is excellent and is equipped with every conceivable gadget that you could possibly need throughout your stay to make it enjoyable and comfortable. The owners are super welcoming and the village it is set in is friendly and very central to local places of interest, local pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be back for another stay in the future and would highly recommend it to others. Thanks again Sharon.

Fantastic stay here. Owners where welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cottage was great, had more then we required and all at a very high quality and standard. We enjoyed coming back after our days out to the hot tub with a glass (plastic) of bubbly. The location was great for us. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a quiet break away.

Really nice place. The pictures are taken from different angles. The back garden where the hot tub is, is tiny not like pictures.

A great place to stay. All the equipment, fixtures and fittings are to a very high spec. Although the owners are right next door they are not intrusive and are extremely helpful with information on arrival

A thoroughly enjoyable week. The owners have gone to great lengths to provide what is needed and at a high spec. Hot tub was great. Very nice after a day’s walking. Welcome pack of eggs, milk, wine, jams and shortbread biscuits was very well received. Will definitely be coming again.
