Chipping Campden is one of the jewels amongst the Cotswold villages and offers an excellent choice of restaurants and inns using local produce, with antique shops and gift shops lining the high street and there is a famous music festival held in May. Broadway is a most picturesque village with pubs and restaurants, and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon offers history, culture and leisure.
Visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the pretty market town of Evesham with its art deco picture house or take a boat trip along the River Avon. Other places to visit include Cheltenham with its racecourse and literary festival, the Roman city of Cirencester, the cathedral city of Oxford and the pretty Cotswold villages of Kingham, Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh.
