A compact, homely and very comfortable cottage. Ideal for couples, or with one child. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Good heating and hot water. Well insulated too. The access is ramped, and the cottage all on one level, with nearby parking, which was perfect for 'her indoors' who has a mobility issue. Chris and Jean (the hosts) are so welcoming. The adjacent farm did not disturb us at all; although we were serenaded by the 'guard geese' occasionally. The farm dogs are lovable especially Jack who pottered round to check on us. We did not find anything we were missing which is a rarity.

Great little cottage with lovely sun trap courtyard to sit in. Spacious and well equipped. Great hosts who kindly showed our little boy the farm animals.

Very clean and comfortable cottage and also cosy, farmer was very friendly and helpful and the cake was lovely. Great location and definitely would go back. Only thing was the WiFi wasn’t very good but couldn’t fault the cottage other than that. Thank you

Fantastic little cottage on a working beef farm. The only reason I haven't scored all 10's is that the WiFi signal can only be picked up in the bedroom & there wasn't any phone signal. However, it is the place to go if you want peace and quiet, even though it's close to the A143 you don't hear it. I've already recommended it and would happily return.

Had a wonderful week. Cottage was warm and spotless with comfortable beds and chairs. Enough space to spare for the 3 of us with a toddler who likes to explore. Owner flagged us down on arrival as it was late evening and may be hard to spot in the dark which was much appreciated! Jack the dog is lovely and friendly and we enjoyed seeing the cows and geese and a horse further down the lane. Ideal distance to amenities and we were lucky with the weather. Hosts were lovely and polite and provided us with tea coffee sugar milk and homemade lemon cake which was delicious! We arranged for our food delivery to be sent to the cottage the day after we arrived which was ideal with a young child. We visited the miniature railway museum, wroxham barns and went shopping in Norwich town. We also visited friends in lowestoft and had a nice time. Would definitely stay again!

Great spacious cottage for two and a dog with dedicated car parking. Other than the quiet road there isn't anywhere to walk the dog straight from the cottage; Bungay common is about a 5 minute drive. Everything you could want in the cottage and we found it an ideal base to tour Norfolk and Suffolk.
