We found this a cosy cottage and the beds were excellent but Lounge seating was low and uncomfortable. We thought the Christmas decorations were a nice welcoming touch.

Good things: - Parking available. - Nice garden at rear. - Very handy for Holt town centre, shops, buses etc. - Easy to control heating. - Good size kitchen and utility room - Lovely welcome tray. Less good things: - Parking space very tight, although this is mentioned on the website. - Very poor old wardrobes and drawers in bedrooms. - Recycling and rubbish bins full and overflowing. We had to take our recycling home with us! - Inadequate dining table. - Dark and drab lounge. - The stairs are really narrow and difficult at the top for anyone not absolutely fit!

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback - we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We spent a long time sourcing antique furniture and new soft furnishings that we believed to be in keeping with the period of the property but providing modern comforts with comfortable new beds and sofa’s.

We had a lovely stay at Pippin Cottage - it has everything you might need and the owner thoughtfully left some homemade jam and other goodies to welcome us!

Our stay in Pippin cottage was wonderful. A lovely cottage and a few steps from all the wonderful things Holt has to offer and well placed to explore the North Norfolk coast. We loved the way it has been decorated and furnished with attention to those small details making it fell very homely. The courtyard garden is great too with private space and lovely planting. Parking for the car is a big bonus with the charges in the area otherwise.
