To enter Dell Cottage, you first have to walk through the wonderful garden, which has been created with loving care by the owners. This wonderful, cosy property, with it’s arch windows and quirky features, has been thoughtfully furnished and boasts a large conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden, and it’s just 100 yards away from the local beach. With some retaining features dating back to the early 1300’s, Dell Cottage was once the village school, but is now a hidden treasure right in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Mundesley. Although just a quaint village, Mundesley has many of the facilities of a small town, and with the beach literally on your doorstep, you may be tempted to park up and stay put.
Those who do wish to venture further afield will find a string of pretty towns and villages lining the coast, with picturesque quays, marshes, sand/shingle beaches and sand dunes. The town of Wroxham is also close by, and is known as the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. With great walks, cycling routes, National Trust properties, stately homes and wildlife sites galore, you will soon see why this area remains such a popular destination for families and couples alike. Beach 100 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub 50 yards, restaurant 15 yards.
