With some retaining features dating back to the early 1300’s, Dell Cottage was once the village school, but is now a hidden treasure right in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Mundesley. Those who do wish to venture further afield will find a string of pretty towns and villages lining the coast, with picturesque quays, marshes, sand/shingle beaches and sand dunes. The town of Wroxham is also close by, and is known as the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. With great walks, cycling routes, National Trust properties, stately homes and wildlife sites galore, you will soon see why this area remains such a popular destination for families and couples alike. We recently stayed in this cottage for four nights from 1st April 2019 which was the first cottage holiday we had ever taken. It was lovely and our French Bulldog loved the garden, which was so spacious and pretty for him to run around in the safety of this garden being completely walled. The cottage was cosy with good central heating for when we came in from the cold outside along with a large conservatory which was nicely warm from the sun shining through. The galley kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Good Bathroom with walk in shower. We used the double bedroom which was cosy and comfortable and there are two more bedrooms, so cottage would suit a family. Would definitely stay here again. Elaine and Alan

Lovely holiday, great location, fabulous garden. Could be improved by engaging more competent cleaning company, repositioning tv at normal height so it doesn’t lead to neck ache, and we’d definitely be back if the main garden was dog-proof, although there is a small back yard which is.

Lovely location and beautiful cottage. Bed in master bedroom too small and too soft but that's just a personal opinion. Lots of cobwebs and I know it's an old building and there's going to be spiders but an attempt to remove them from the cleaners would of been good. Nasty smell in single room needs looking into. Also dog mess left in area outside kitchen. Perhaps a word with the cleaners is needed. Overall lovely relaxing break in a beautiful warm cottage.

really enjoyed the stay, deal for a family with 2 dogs, gardens and garden space first class. the only criticism would be regards the garden was that the bottom wall unless you have little dogs is too low and needs something to just raise this area as most dogs can bound straight over although a minor problems, could have really enjoyed the garden had the weather been better. the only other criticism would be that many of the doors did not latch in particular the conservatory door which kept blowing open. these are only minor point and should not detract from the enjoyment of this properties great location. we don't want these points to be used as a criticism as the holiday let is ideal for responsible dog owners and the proximity of the beach to the house was perfect. lovely spot and we would go back.
