If you want a complete break away then this is a lovely cottage. Would recommend your own transport for getting about. The beach is approximately 20 minute walk away but very stoned so take layered towels for sitting on. The local pub is busy but very good - you need to book if you want to eat inside. The highlight for us was the village shop - very friendly, top tips on where to go (and car parks) and great coffee

Enjoyed the stay, Everything in the cottage was wonderful, close to the beach, the pub & the bus stop. Enjoyed plenty of long walks round the area.

Lovely cottage in a great location near to the sea. Nice quiet cul-de-sac yet still very close to the great local pub and shop/ cafe. Very well equipped, found everything we needed. Great walks from the door and public transport links to Sheringham and beyond are good.

The cottage was in a great location with a great pub just at the end of the road. However the description says garden/ patio and there is no garden which was one of my main criteria as if you have a dog you need somewhere to let them out!!!!

Excellent location, local pub/restaurant, shop & cafe all short walking distance. The sea shore is also very near and there is a nice coastal path walk to Sheringham. There is lots to see and do in this area. The cottage was not very clean and smelled like a damp dog, the toilet seat in the en-suite bedroom was broken and I had to repair it myself. However we did not let these things spoil our holiday and had a great time.

We had a very bad experience with no help from the owner or caretaker even tho it clearly states in the welcome pack that any problems contact the caretaker.

The cottage needs a good clean and a few maintenance fixes. No hot water the first night and very little after that once a day only enough to bath two children together in very shallow water. Washing machine so mouldy inside I couldn't use it. Great location for a base to explore Norfolk.
