We had a lovely peaceful base to come back to after exploring the local towns and activities within a short drive away. The walk down to the Ford and ruins I'd lovely and my daughter really enjoyed having a paddle and exploring with her net. Lovely cottage, very homely and full of character.

Lovely cottage very peaceful hosts welcoming. Can recommend the relatively short walk by the Ford to the local pub taking in the sight of the Priory ruins. Often woke up to deers in the garden.

It is a converted barn in a quiet location suitable for leisurely breaks away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Convenient for the main Swaffham- Fakenham road and surrounding areas. The property is spacious and could easily sleep six (two double, one twin). The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely white linen and the bathroom & shower rooms were clean and adequate. The crockery needs to be added to - couple of extra large plates, pasta bowls and a small jug would be useful. The stairs (nine) are quite steep and could be a problem for children or less able. The ground floor is completely flag stone throughout with rugs. Again a consideration for small children maybe. The hosts are on site and were very helpful re questions beforehand via email and phone. I would happily recommend this property.
