Fab location, bungalow was great, could have done with shower in family bathroom, especially when sleeping 6 and barbecue would be nice

The positives are the location , and size of the property . The bungalow however is tired and dated , and it has no wifi which is a necessary in this world we live in . The bungalow could do with a lick of paint internally , the back door lock is temperamental . The kitchen cupboards are dirty and chipped and smell , as does the dishwasher , it smells of rotten eggs . The shower in the ensuite is dirty and I had to clean it but a lot is ground on lime scale . It would have been nice considering the amount we paid £800 plus ) if there had been extra loo roll , salt / pepper , oil , cling film and foil , also a bigger kitchen bin . Some of the plates , cutlery was dirty and had to be washed , the cutlery draw was full of bits also. Dispointingly you don't do recycling I think the owner needs to take on board my comments and I would be happy to talk to them further if they wish .

Wonderful bungalow, perfect location backing onto the beach. The front door and patio furnature were dirty and covered in cobwebs when we arrived, but otherwise was clean. Thankyou for letting us use your lovely home, and the dogs absolutely loved it. We will be back if you will have us. The cost is much more than we normally pay and would be more reasonable than just 3 of us staying, the the location is worth spending a little more than our normal costs

Bungalow was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped but the dishwasher was not working properly - it rinsed but there was no heat so everything was covered in grease after the wash. As we stayed over Easter weekend we didn't complain during out stay - wasn't much the owners could have done then but was very annoying. I agree with other reviews that there should be wi-fi, there isn't good signal with some phone companies so wi-fi is essential. Should be a second shower in the main bathroom - there is room and would help as 4 people use the main bathroom, and would keep costs down for the owner if everyone had a shower rather than a bath. Great garden for the dogs - totally enclosed and they loved the beach!

Needs a little upgrade. New carpet etc. You can't beat the view tho. For what we paid it's ok.

Wonderful bungalow, warm and welcoming. Spacious, clean, good standard of furniture and fittings. Comfortable bed with quality bedding. It's nice to have an 'all in one' price so you don't need to worry about electric or heating etc. Everything was provided and although we didnt use it there were plenty of logs provided for the log burner; also an excellent quality fire guard secured at each side. Garden was a very good size and the dogs loved it. The metal fence at the end kept our two dogs (a cockerpoo and a cairn terrier) secure; they could get their heads through but didn't manage to escape so I was relieved. It would have been handy to have an outside light but I'd taken light up collars so was able to see where they were when it was dark. We had also taken some light plastic mesh fencing to fix to the metal fence if the gaps were too wide but didn't need to use it, I would recommend anyone taking small dogs to take something similar to ensure they can't escape as they will just walk straight through the bars. I read a review about bigger dogs jumping the fence; it's about three foot high and if you know your dogs jump, take something to add to the top or keep them on a long lead in the garden, don't moan about them jumping out, they are your responsibility. Lovely location and it didn't matter what the weather did as the view was perfect. Only a short walk to a slope down to the beach, so really handy for exercising the dogs; I didn't want to take the dogs on the steps as they are metal grids and was concerned about their feet. Must finally say how helpful and efficient Mrs Tuck was, thank you.
