Burn of Aultmore Croft is a superb stone built croft house situated in 200 acres of open farmland surrounded by hills and forests. This beautiful detached house has been completely gutted and then lovingly restored by its current owners and now provides the height of modern living whilst retaining its delightful original features. The house is extremely eco-friendly, with geo-thermal underfloor heating, solar panels and a warm, welcoming wood burner in the main living room. The accommodation is very spacious and can easily accommodate up eight visitors. A large entrance hall and utility room leads through to the bright kitchen. The living room has deep sofas and a lovely wood burner. The windows look out across the gardens to the hills and countryside beyond. There is a separate dining room with dining for up to eight. Upstairs are three large bedrooms and a shower room. With a spacious family bathroom on the ground floor the house is ideal for large families or a two-family holiday.
Set in 200 acres of farmland with a pretty tumbling burn running alongside, and situated on a no through road that leads away into the hills, it will appeal to country lovers and wildlife enthusiasts in particular. These grounds are shared with the owner and one other property, The Bothy (ref UK13246) which can be rented alongside Burn of Aultmore to accommodate up to 10 guests. Deer, snipe, curlew, herons and a wide variety of other birds including a resident woodpecker can be spotted close by. With no near neighbours and two hundred acres of gardens and grounds, it provides total seclusion whilst being easily accessible for exploring the whole of this fascinating area and historic region.

Set in a very tranquil location, garden completely enclosed for dogs, well equipped kitchen and excellent welcome pack. My only suggestion would be blackout blinds on all bedroom windows. Overall an excellent stay.

We had a lovely stay at this holiday cottage. The hosts were very welcoming and left a generous supply of breakfast items on arrival, including homemade bread and marmalade. The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. It was also much larger than we expected. I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
