Excellent stay. We were four adults, the house was very comfortable and quiet. The area is wonderfull, we had plenty to do for a week and we also could have rest. We would come back with lot of pleasure.

The cottage is in a lovely area, very remote, pitch black at night good to watch the stars. there is a caravan in the garden as others have noted but it does not cause an issue it is empty. the cottage inside although not clinically clean was more than satisfactory. pets have to be kept down stairs in the kitchen / lounge which was not stated before arrival due to new carpets. there is a pub and two local shops both a 5 minute drive. the cleanest remotest beach is a 20 minute walk away and when the tide is out you can walk for hours. ideal for children and dogs( on leads for the first bit as sheep around but once on the sand let them run as no roads near)

Lovely cottage. A bit like the Tardis as is looked small from the outside but was quite big inside. The owner was worried that I would not be warm enough but I was. The kitchen as very well stocked. Two TVs. The wifi was not good because of the area and you could only get the 5 standard channels plus the likes of E4, More 4, ITV4 on the TV. There were DVDs, books and games provided. Great location. Near some houses but not shops. The sheep were very friendly. The owners of the nearest SPAR in Tongue were extremely friendly and full of local information.
