We first visited Burnside 5 years ago and since there has been an upgrade mainly to the beds and some firniture. The wifi isn't the best however especially if you have kids wanting to be online. However this was the only downside as the cottage and surrounding area made up for it. There is an honesty box at a nearby farmbfor veggies, frozen meat and eggs which is great as there are no shops nearby. This was such a relaxing holiday and the youngest loved seeing the sheep which lived on our doorstep. We've booked again for next year! Book you're own wee piece of paradise at Burnside. We'll see you soon.

We had a great time at Burnside cottage. It was the perfect location for us to rest and recharge. Such a peaceful location and yet not too far from civilisation.

Loved it. Very quiet location in the countryside. An old cottage which some will say needs upgrading here and there but, It doesn’t. Leave as is! You’d ruin the character of the place.
