Enjoy this superb lochside property, with access to a shingle beach with fishing rights.

The Quaich is an immaculately presented, end-terraced holiday home in an unrivalled setting, with panoramic views over Loch Tay and the surrounding countryside. Relax with friends and family in spacious, contemporary accommodation, ideal for enjoying the area and all it has to offer. The property also has a stairlift to the first floor for disabled visitors. On the shores of Loch Tay, guests have access to a grassed area and shingle beach with fishing rights (in season). Loch Tay itself is the largest loch in Perthshire, offering stunning views across its length and breadth. Sailing, canoeing and boat hire are all available locally, and clay pigeon shooting and pleasure cruises are available from the Croft na Caber Centre, which is a reconstruction of an Iron Age stilt dwelling built over the water. The Tay is one of the finest angling rivers, with Kenmore hosting a traditional ceremony each January to mark the opening of the salmon season. Ample walking and climbing opportunities are available in the area; for the energetic, there are seven munros within 10 miles, including Ben Lawers (Perthshire’s highest mountain) and Shiehallion. Fearnan sits at one end of the Tummel Forest Park and provides a variety of trails for leisurely walks, mountain biking and horse riding. Fine golf courses are widely available throughout the region, with two courses at Kenmore, and Gleneagles is within driving distance. Glasgow and Edinburgh are within a 2-hour drive. Shop and pub 3 miles.

Double bedroom with 5ft bed, loch and mountain views, and en-suite shower room with toilet. Two twin bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and toilet, one with zip & link beds (can be 6ft double on request). Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Stair lift to first floor: Large, open-plan living room with dining and well-equipped kitchen area. Patio doors to balcony with casual dining area offering loch and mountain views. Separate toilet.

The house was immaculate and well equipped in a perfect situation for exploring the area. We were able to use our bikes to enjoy rides on quiet roads along the glens directly accessible from the house. Beautiful panoramic view of Loch Tay, from the large, light and airy sitting room. Great for entertaining friends as we did, and the house was warm with all modern amenities. The wifi was good. Other pluses were the good parking, and secure bike store for our two bikes. We enjoyed good weather and liked the outside balcony for sitting and eating.

Excellent place to stay.. it is fiver star accommodation. The owner is also very friendly and always responsive. The local village is eye delight and local craft shops are a treat. I have been trying to get such craft for ages and there is nothing to compare with quality I found in local villages. The views are amazing as well, the lake is surrounded with hills and you cannot stop looking at the view no matter how many hours you spend.

Fantastic holiday home with the most beautiful, ever changing views over the loch. Could happily have stayed permanently and would highly recommend it to friends. Loved the art work throughout which made this feel more like a holiday home than a holiday house. Very friendly and helpful owners and housekeeper.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Really pleased you enjoyed the location and the house. We have tried hard to make the Quaich feel like a home from home experience so glad our efforts paid off for you!
