Ideal position for a group of us to base ourselves for some diving and fishing launching a boat in the harbour.

Lovely cottage with a wonderful view. Comfortable and well equipped. Provisions were left for our arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom would be helpful for people of limited mobility or a wheelchair user. I've stopped in Skye many times but never previously in Kyleakin but now it would be my preferred place to stay. The local people were very helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing time. The cottage was lovely - comfortable and cosy and the only thing missing (for us) was a log burner, although it wasn't needed as the heating was more than good enough. Kitchen was very well equipped with quality cookware and, unusually for holiday lets, sharp knives (it's the little things ...). There was only the two of us, so we didn't use upstairs but we were very comfortable with the spacious ground floor accommodation. The cottage is ideally placed for touring Skye, and also access to the mainland for supplies and the West Coast. The glass bottomed boat trip is a must - we were extremely lucky and were the only two on a 2 hour trip. Our one disappointment is that the cottage is not available for Christmas and New Year!
