The stunning surrounding scenery inspired Sir Walter Scott to write the poem ’Lady of the Lake’.For days out there are whisky distilleries, historic buildings and castles. The city of Stirling is only 20 minutes’ drive, or a little further afield are Edinburgh and Glasgow in just over an hour.Guided walks taking you into the countryside and mountains can be arranged with the owner, a qualified mountain leader at additional cost.Shops, pubs and restaurants within 300 yards.
