Nestled into the countryside surrounded by its own generous gardens and just a stone’s throw from the sea, Curlew Croft is a lovely farmhouse that has been extended and upgraded in recent years. Situated at the end of a short track in an elevated position overlooking the spectacular Sinclair Bay it offers bright, modern and well-equipped accommodation for four in a very quiet but accessible location. The new extension comprises the main open-plan living area. The spacious lounge has been thoughtfully designed to maximise the stunning seascapes through the large picture windows. A modern wood-burning stove acts as a warm and welcoming focal point. A good-sized kitchen / dining area adjoins. There are two attractively presented double bedrooms and a modern family shower-room. The walk-in shower along with other facilities including a ramp to the entrance ensure that the property is accessible to all. The majority of the electricity is provided by solar panels between the months of April and September in an effort to reduce the carbon emissions from the house as much as possible.
Just a short walk from the cottage lies Keiss harbour, the old castle and a 3 mile long beach. This charming backwater seems untouched by time and there are lovely walks around the headland and along the coastline direct from the property.
