We had a great time at Burn of Aultmore croft. We wanted peace and quiet and were not disappointed. The caretaker was really helpful, and the welcome pack was more of a grocery delivery! The cottage was very well equipped, and Eco friendly if that matters to you. It was a fabulous place for the dog, and if you had kids they would love the space around the cottage. It was a very friendly touch too to be able to help ourselves to strawberries, raspberries, green beans and fresh herbs. One thing only needs attention, which is that the door to the garden (lovely, fully enclosed, and full of birds) was stuck fast. I could manage it once I learned how hard it needed tugging but my wife had no chance.
