A wonderful cosy bungalow situated in a secluded area, yet several attractions within easy reach - perfect for a relaxing break.

Enjoying lovely views and sunsets over Loch Sween and Jura, Cruinn (ref URW) and Moy ( ref UXU) are comfortable holiday cottages on the owner’s working farm. Cruinn stands beside natural woodland, and Moy is situated within a wooded glade and offers opportunities to watch deer from the windows or explore the seashore where seals and otters may be spotted playing. This secluded peninsula abounds with birds, flowers and wildlife, with seals, otters, deer and badgers. There are several sandy beaches and opportunities for walking, cycling, riding and boating. Ancient Castle Sween, Kilmartin Glen and the ruined chapels at Kilmory and Keills add archaeological interest. There are opportunities to view the beavers in Knapdale Forest or visit Taynuish Nature Reserve. Lochgilphead (16 miles) offers shops, restaurants, a golf course and an indoor swimming-pool, while a seafood meal can be enjoyed at picturesque Tayvallich or Crinan. Shops 16 miles.

The cottage was just as we expected from the description, and the owner was very welcoming. The area was better than we expected, which was a lovely bonus!

Great wee cottage. Very quiet and great wildlife. Shops a bit of a drive away. Cottage itself was extremely clean and decked out well. Beds a little noisy and uncomfortable but hey ho. If peace quiet and perfect beaches is what you’re after then this is definitely the place for you.

A very nice, well equipped cottage in an area of outstanding natural beauty, great views and sunsets but isolated. Visitors should be aware that it is 17 miles to the nearest amenities Lochgilphead. If you are travelling out from the cottage it is an 11 mile, each way drive along a single track lane for each trip you make. The water supply is from a private spring, unfortunately prior to our stay there had been a problem and quality of the supply could not be guaranteed. We had to use boiled water and bottled water which was an inconvenience.
