Visit the Hollow Mountain at Ben Cruachan, Bonawe Iron Works in Taynuilt, Inveraray Jail, or the ruins of Kilchurn Castle for great days out. The bustling harbour town of Oban is only 18 miles away by road and boasts a variety of seafood restaurants, shops, a cinema and leisure centre. Oban is known as the Gateway to the Inner Isles and from the harbour you can catch a short ferry crossing to one of the Inner Isles, including Mull, Staffa and Iona.
