The cottage is a very tight squeeze for 6 people it stated fridge freezer but was only a fridge with ice box there were no cupboard space to put any food in the upstairs bedrooms think they need to look at been child friendly as my 16 month grandson was able to open the velux window and the curtains just draped which in my opinion is very dangerous for small children. The cottage felt very damp and had to have electric fires on in summer will not be returning.

Whilst we had a lovely break, the cottage was not very comfortable for sitting around in the evenings as chairs and sofas have seen better days. The bathroom although of an older design did not have a clean cistern at all and the toilet seat under the lid was not clean and the decoration is rather tired especially around the bath. Bedding was lovely. Very limited outside space. Although 6 beds this cottage would have been a tight squeeze with 6 people to live comfortably.

We had a lovely week at the Smiddy. Great location with access to the loch via a private jetty which the owners allow use of. They also kindly let us store our kayak in the storage unit. The cottage has all the home comforts you will need, just lacking a washing machine. Would recommend.
