Beautiful cottage in a very quiet location on a private estate. Well-equipped with a comfortable lounge and private back garden. Owners very helpful if needed. Beautiful countryside and empty roads, and quite near the coast.

We had a lovely, comfortable four night stay at The Coach House with our two young children (6 and 3 years old). My only concern was that there was only a Yale lock on the front door; another lock fitted would perhaps be worth consideration. Whilst a break-in was unlikely, the absence of a second and more secure lock did mean I didn’t leave any valuables downstairs at night.

We have stayed at the coach house three times now and you couldn't wish for a more relaxing location than the Bargany estate. Walking around the estate we have seen otters playing in the river and deer plus all the other wildlife and birds you would expect in a country location. Although you need to drive when out visiting as you are obviously on an estate you are within striking distance of some great attractions, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House and great coastal walks. We have always visited in Autumn when the colours are at their best (and the midges have all disappeared)

A very comfortable cottage on a beautiful estate. The owners were very welcoming, provided helpful advice and made sure we were happy with everything. The location and cottage will suit anyone who loves fishing, wildlife, and coastal walking. Overall we had a lovely holiday exploring Ayrshire and Galloway despite some very wet weather.

We had a great week at the cottage. It's a large property in beautiful surroundings with all the comforts of home and super hosts. We won't hesitate to return as we enjoyed our days out in Ayreshire and Arran and the weather was kind. All in all a relaxing enjoyable retreat not to be missed.
