We stayed 11 nights in Potters cottage. It is a very cosy and warm which feels like home. Everything has been well thought out. The owners are very friendly and extremely kind On arrival they greeted us with scones and preserves And during our stay brought us some organic veg from the garden. Despite them living next door they are not intrusive. They have created a lovely haven with beautiful gardens. Any one wanting to explore the Ipswich and the Suffolk area then this a perfect place to stay . We would definitely stop Here again.

Another wonderful holiday in this delightful cottage. Glenda and Melvin always so helpful and friendly. This was our 4th visit and we will be booking again for 2017. Have stayed at quite a few cottages but this is definitely the best.

Had a lovely few days at the cottage. It is so cosy and comfortable with everything you need. My first time in Suffolk so enjoyed our days out to the Suffolk coast, Constable country and Lavenham. Thank you to Glenda and Melvin for your friendliness and your gifts of scones, preserves and not forgetting some produce from your garden. Much enjoyed.

The Cottage was an excellent choice for us. The location benefits from the nearby A14 yet the Cottage is set in a secluded country position. The rooms were extremely clean and the facilities provided us with everything we needed for a completely relaxing stay. Having sung the praises of the building, I have to add that the owners are also first class. Their friendliness, helpful attitude and flexibility towards us could not be faulted. We were so impressed that we booked for another week soon after the first. If you are looking for a break in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, I suggest that 'The Cottage' should be at the top of your list. If you do visit, ask the owner about the apple tree planted in the garden by their Grandfather; education as well as comfort!

The cottage was beautifully clean with comfortable beds. Very well equipped. Warm welcome from the owners and kind gift of scones and preserves, milk, tea and coffee. Convenient place to visit places in Suffolk and Essex border. Only problem was the situation of the cottage near a busy road so we were unable to open the bedroom windows at night because of the noise. The rest of the cottage was delightful. We would not stay there again but only because we feel we have done all that we want to see and do in the area, but would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who hasn't explored the area.

The cottage is located within easy reach of main highway network whilst still giving access to rural routes to various locations within Suffolk. The cottage itself is both comfortable and practical with modern technology being utilised to blend in with the cottage design. The owners are friendly and helpful, making it a home from home experience.

Glenda and Melvin gave us a wonderful personal welcome when we arrived, after ringing us earlier to make sure we knew their location. The cottage dining room table, covered with a fresh tablecloth complete with napkins, was beautifully laid out with plates, bowls, cutlery and glasses and a lovely bowl of fragrant roses. Every effort had been made to make us feel at home, which is indeed what it felt like as it had everything that you could possibly need. Outside we had a patio with table and chairs available for our use, together with a washing line, and had a tour of Glenda and Melvin's spectacular garden. The bed linen was beautifully crisp and plumped and the beds were very comfortable. The huge bathroom was an absolute luxury - especially the underfloor heating! I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this beautiful cottage. Jean

This is our 4th visit to this cottage and still we want to go back again! Plenty of places to visit with some very good eateries in the area. Glenda and Melvin could not be more helpful and friendly.
