This spacious, traditional, pet friendly, detached holiday cottage is located in the heart of the village of Thorpeness, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Full of charm and character, Whinlands is perfect for those looking to be close to the beach and local amenities.
Peter Pan fans need never grow up in Thorpeness - take a fairytale boat trip on the boating lake that is inspired by JM Barrie’s famous adventure story. If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land then there is family fun to be had at the mini golf course. There are also plenty of walks amongst the surrounding countryside to enjoy. Aldeburgh is just 2 miles away, where you will find an array of shops, museums, galleries and places to eat. The town is well known in the area for its outstanding fish and chips, so be sure to sample those.
Suffolk has plenty to offer visitors, from its traditional towns and villages to the beaches and coastline. Wildlife and nature are at home in the heaths, marshes and nature reserves, so try to make time to spot the birds at RSPB Minsmere or take a peaceful family walk at Dunwich Woods, both within 10 miles. Southwold is a little further afield but is an ideal spot for crabbing or swimming at the beach.
Beach 400 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
