Mariners Lodge is a great place nestled between the beach and the local golf course, with local shops within a mile or so. The house is well appointed, and we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

A really great cottage, superbly located near the ferry end of Felixstowe. Great views of both the sea and adjacent golf course. Upstairs master bedroom has a balcony which was ideal for sitting out on with a drink watching the sunset. Very well-equipped kitchen: one of the best I have come across. The only complaint was the smell in the downstairs bedroom. It smelt like a dog had been sleeping on the duvet leaving a quiet unpleasant odour. We had to liberally spray fabreeze to mask smell. That said we are very likely to return next year!!
