Lovely cottage, superb welcome pack of fresh produce. Only downsides are access to garden via drive (known about before hand) and getting in and out of the drive due to parking on the road.

A characterful cottage, full historical charm. Excellent facilities that contributed in a major way to a relaxing stay as Storm Dennis raged through our time in Suffolk. The access to some delightful walks along River Gipping was perfect, only spoiled by our timing to be guests during the raging of the previously mentioned Storm Dennis. We would definitely enjoy a resturn visit.

Lovely break between Christmas and New Year. It was very festive with the decorations and the welcoming touches of lots of little goodies around the place like chocolates and wine. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend Walnut Cottage to anyone and we would definitely stay there again ourselves.

You could not ask for more in a holiday cottage. The cottage is equipped like it's someone's home, with everything from bottle openers to a slow cooker! The space is comfortable and warm. And it is decorated impeccably. Will definitely be returning soon!

the cottage, was well set out with everything you could need, but the stairs were narrow uneven heights and steep with no room for a handrail. road beside cottage was a busy road. garden at the rear of the cottage was delightful.

A beautiful quirky Tudor cottage.Well equipped, beautiful bedding, comfy beds and plenty of towels provided.Didn't need to take any cleaning products etc all provided.Large dishwasher and plenty of crockery too.lovely little secure garden.A very generous welcome pack included butter, bread, eggs, cheese, biscuits cake and wine!! The owner contacted us to give us information on the area etc. Only comments the carpets need a clean or replacing as cream and difficult to keep clean in a rented property. Also as pets welcome to have dog bowls(which we did take in case) We had a lovely time in a lovely cottage.

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Walnut Cottage. It was lovely to stay in a house with such history and character. It is very well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The very generous welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch and it was great to be able to enjoy the wine in the lovely garden in the sunshine. We can thoroughly recommend the cottage as we loved everything about it.
