Great cottage in a great location of Beccles.Milk, tea bags, and coffee and biscuits for you on arrival.Parking is at that back of the property. The Bakery is very well appointed and clean it is an old property so it has low doorways (you soon learn) thus it has loads of charm. Teso supermarket is very close by within walking distance as are plenty of pubs and restaurants also a very good chip shop out the back court yard and turn left. The best thing about this property as well are the owners Chris and Sue both lovely people and will give you a full tour and briefing on the property on your arrival.

Lovely cottage with all you could ask for, owners were sooooo helpful, they took us out on there cabin cruiser for the afternoon whilst we were there which was really kind of them. The location of the cottage could not be bettered, 5 mins walk into the town centre, 2 mins walk to the bus depot which we used a lot instead of the car. The lido was a 10 min walk away which was a great place to go on a hot day. The cottage had everything you would need for a relaxing stay, as its an old 1570s bakery the stairs would maybe be a struggle for old people but that comes with the charm of the place, we are over 60 and we had no problem, we would return without doubt to stay again.

The cottage is very comfortable and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Beccles is very convenient for local busses which are frequent and will get you to all of the interesting local places.

Nice cottage in a good location for the town with good shops, pubs and restaurants. Owners friendly and welcoming. Very steep stairs up to a large comfortable bedroom, but very warm - not able to have window open due to noise and closeness to road. Shower room very small and nowhere to put wash things. Shelf is too close to the sink so can't clean teeth or shave easily! Kitchen equipment ok, but only for a short stay - fridge is tiny and only fits food and wine for a day or so. Comfortable lounge room but dining table could be better placed so you don't just have the wall to look at whilst eating! Would be a cosy cottage in winter.

Excellent accommodation and location - so much within walking distance. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with lots of character and local heritage. We look forward to returning in the Autumn.

Nice location in Beccles, although the noise from traffic on the road directly outside slightly detracts from this. Cottage is very comfortable ( especially the bed!) and well equipped. Only two slight drawbacks for us; my husband found neither of the sinks very good for wet shaving ; and there was nowhere secure we could lock our bikes away, although we were able to put them undercover - yes it’s a low crime area but expensive road bikes are very stealable these days! However, we had a lovely stay and neither of these things would put us off coming again.

A super well fitted out cottage with amazing history. It is in an ideal location in an interesting small town. We enjoyed the walks, trying the local pubs and restaurants and having a break from driving by using the good bus service. The Cottage was very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We were helped and made to feel very welcome by the owners. Thank you!
