Excellent cottage. Very clean. Lovely holiday all round. The local pubs are brilliant. Very dog friendly and welcoming. Lovely meals. The beach is great and our German shepherd loved it. All in all a relaxing holiday.

Albion Cottage is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen equipment. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. I stayed there with my husband and my young dog. There are 2 pubs nearby that allow dogs inside (The Oddfellows and the Trowl and Hammer). The coastline from Kessingland right through to the South Pier in Lowestoft provides amazing walks. Our young dog Madi, loved it and so did we even though the weather was pretty grim! I would definitely stay there again but I hope they can do something about the upstairs shower which only provides about 30 seconds of hot water at a time. Fine, perhaps, if you don't have much hair to shampoo and rinse but it needs changing to earn the top score of 10. The price therefore was a little steep (rather like the stairs), so you also need to be fit and healthy! Caroline

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for staying at Albion Cottage and we were very sorry to read that the water was not working properly. We had our plumber out as soon as we read this and the boiler had actually had a major malfunction. As this is a new boiler we were very surprised but these things happen. We hope that that has not put you off coming to stay again in the future. Warm Regards.

This cottage is a little gem. Everything you need and more. Can’t fault it at all. Super outdoor space. Very dog friendly. Pakefield beach pubs and shops all on the doorstep. Never met the owner he was away but still got welcoming emails. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly spacious cottage considering how small it looks from the outside - a great use of space! Really good pub nearby and Pakefield beach is just wonderful.

The cottage is well-appointed and equipped. The location is great-beach is within easy access, local amenities are close by, parking was never a problem. The blinds in the master bedroom weren't very dark, so I'm glad that there was a blind (albeit a broken one that had to be manually rolled up as the chain was disconnected) in the twin room so we could use the travel blind I brought with in the master. The main issue was cleanliness-there was quite a lot of dog hair around in the carpet (as a pet friendly place, I get that a bit may be present, but there was a lot), there was some animal poo in the garden when we arrived and there was quite a bit of rubbish left under the twin beds and in the drawers in that room, presumably from the precious guests. The TV and wifi worked well, the kitchen was as equipped as we needed it to be. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay-Pakefield is a good base for exploring, and our two kids (2 and 4) enjoyed the beach and (especially) scooting on the promenade (and the ice cream and doughnuts from Zak's).
