Queensbury Lodge lies within walking distance of the quintessentially English village of Godshill which boasts some of the oldest architecture on the island. There is an interesting range of shops in the village offering local crafts and produce as well as many traditional tearooms.
Godshill is located near to the centre of the Island, with a bus route close to the lodge and buses which travel eastwards to Ryde, northwards to Newport or across the Island to Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown. This is an ideal location to explore both the picturesque countryside and pretty villages or the long stretches of sandy beaches which surround this beautiful island. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
