A friendly welcome from helpful hosts. Comfortable accommodation with access to the coastal path, three bus routes and the station a short walk away.

This little cottage is perfect for a solo traveller with a dog or two. The location is ideal for a dog-friendly holiday. The back gate opens straight onto the cliff path, with a mostly-enclosed park next door and dog-friendly beaches just down the cliff. The local cafes and restaurants are almost all dog-friendly, so no need to cook. The area feels very safe, which is important when traveling alone. The cottage is cosy. It's perfectly big enough for one person, or for two petite people who really like each other! There are simple kitchen facilities ideal for snacks, although eating main meals out is easier (who wants to cook on holiday anyway!). The bed's comfortable, but don't bring your entire wardrobe, as storage space for clothes is very limited. The enclosed garden is ideal for fur babies. The local train does go past the front gate every so often, but even my noise-sensitive dog stopped barking at it after the third train went past, so nothing to worry about there. Everything was nice and clean, and the milk, teabags, wine, biscuits and cakes were a lovely personal touch that you don't get from a self-catering resort. Keith and Sarah were very attentive hosts, always nearby if they were needed.

Delightful ownership couple. Exceptionally amicable and considerate. Cottage is in fact a wood cabin attached to the main house, but with its own separate small garden. The back gate leads directly on to the coastal path from which it's a short walk down to the beach below. Location ideal for pets and humans alike!! Only downside is bathroom / bedroom slightly cramped.

The cosy and comfortable chalet is set in a lovely garden which is great for evening BBQs or just relaxing. The warm welcome and "goodies" were much appreciated. The owners were on hand for anything that was needed but were not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even the terrific thunderstorm of Tuesday night /Wednesday morning!
