Lovely location, enclosed patients , perfect for our dog. 15 minute drive ( if you take the direct route!) to Oakwood, Folly farm & Blue Lagoon. The cottage is well equipped & clean. Little welcome basket of Welsh products went well with a cup of tea on arrival. Only negative is the sofa bed could have been less lumpy and the wifi could've been stronger. One tip, take a good map with you or you'll explore the country roads more than you anticipated! We would definitely stay again as we love Pembrokeshire.

A nice cottage, in a good position but, unfortunately (as several previous guests had noted in the Visitors' Book), the bed is very uncomfortable. And the sofa is not good either.

The property was lovely. My son, his partner and dog stayed for a long weekend. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Garden with bbq was a bonus. Small welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the owner was very welcoming indeed. Have already booked to stay again! Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

The cottage was in a quiet location and quite close to Saundersfoot and Tenby. The bathroom is in need of some attention. There is no mention in the cottage details of an adjoining 12 bed holiday let, 6 x 4 berth caravans or 3 other holiday cottages all in a 100metre radius of Stable cottage. If they had all been occupied it would not have been such a quiet holiday.

We stayed at Stable Cottage from 24th June 2016 for 7 nights. It is in a beautiful quite location on the edge of Ludchurch. The location was perfect as a central base to explore further surroundings. Pendine Sands, Tenby, Amroth & Wisemans Bridge are all a stones throw away. The local shops in Kilgetty were only about 5 mins away by car, which has a large Co-op store, chip shop & Indian (the Indian, Seven Spice, is a must try, lovely food & delivery to the cottage available). The garden / decking area at the cottage is very clean & all closed in for privacy & as we took our 2 dogs, we were able to leave the patio door open for them to come in & out at their leisure, without the worry of them being able to get out. The cottage is a great size, especially for couples. The Lounge area is nice & airy & quite large, as is the bedroom. Plenty of storage space. The bathroom had everything we needed, no bath, but a nice corner shower, and all immaculately clean. The fitted kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Cooker & extractor hood, toaster, microwave, fridge with freezer box, all cutlery, plates, etc. The bottle of wine & Welsh Cakes were a lovely welcoming touch on our arrival. We had all the cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar etc, & fresh clean towels too which was nice. The courtyard area has stables converted into a laundry area with washing & drying facilities. This is run on an honesty box policy, if you use them just leave some money in the box. The other stables are now games room, with pool table, table tennis & such for the kids. We had a few visitors in the evenings, in the form of tiny little bats. We didn't mind them, but did have to leave the patio door open for them to fly back out. If this bothers you, just close the door in the evening times as they did seem attracted to the lights inside. The wifi is available, but we found it a bit touch & go, we didn't mind this as we had a decent enough phone signal anyway. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week here and were very comfortable. We will be booking again.

We had a lovely week, thanks in part to the excellent weather but also in no small measure to the cottage, which was comfortable and delightfully quiet. The owner was friendly and helpful and in no way intrusive. We're happy to recommend this accommodation to others who want a quiet, relaxing base for a holiday spent exploring the county.
