Description

Nestled in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Honeysuckle Cottage is a great choice for a romantic break in the country.

Come and enjoy Honeysuckle Cottage nestled down a quiet country lane in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this beautifully restored, semi-detached cottage has retained all its original charm and character. A few minutes away is the charming and scenic National Trust managed Stackpole Estate and where you can discover it’s fantastic walks meandering down through Bosherston lily ponds, famous for otters and water lilies. This leads onto the golden sands of Broadhaven and close to the truly epic and award-winning Barafundle Bay. Discover the surf at Freshwater West, ideal for romantic sunset walks. The historic walled town of Pembroke is just 3 miles away and features a magnificent Norman castle which is famous as the birthplace of Henry VII. The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses.
Honeysuckle Cottage is aptly named from the vibrantly coloured honeysuckle creeping along the cottage walls and dates back to the early 19th century. As you walk through the front door you will instantly feel at home, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The cottage offers exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and solid wood flooring throughout. The character continues through into the spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Throughout, the property has been lovingly furnished and offers a high level of comfort. In the evening enjoy the fully enclosed courtyard and sit back with a glass of wine and some tasty home cooking.
Take a boat trip to Skomer Island and walk amongst the puffins in the breeding season. Explore the stunningly scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path or the wilds of the Preseli Hills. Come and enjoy all that Honesysuckle Cottage has to offer. Beach 3 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

What a charming place interior and exterior oosed appeal Everything you want for is there and more Only one thing that could be better but wouldn't change it as there is so much peace and tranquility is that you have to travel 4 to 6 miles to take the dogs for a walk if energetic like ours ? Other than that you want for nothing !!!!!!!

Wonderful modern barn conversion with high quality fittings. Very quiet, good location close to beaches and NationalTrust sites. Nearest pub approximately 3 miles with bistro quality food, nearest supermarket 5 miles Pembroke and Pembroke Dock. If you want a quiet high quality stay in the National Park near all the sites this is ideal and far better value and quality than National Trust property. Only things we could recommend improvement off is an outside table for meals and a ceiling fan ( extremely hot when we were there) Wonderful Sarah, Sean and Freddie 🐶

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Apologies for the rattles in the pipes and we thank you for drawing our attention to a problem we thought we had resolved. We have now had an Ariston engineer deal with, what transpired to be, an issue with the hot water cylinder. All fixed now and we look forward to welcoming you back.
