Booked cottage during lockdown so waited a while before going. It was well worth the wait Cottage is in a beautiful setting in its own, it has to be said hilly, grounds, perfect for the dog and the grandsons. Plenty for them to explore. The rooms and facilities at the cottage were more than sufficient, the Hot tub, which is cleaned weekly and switched-on awaiting guests arrival, was a boon. The locality is simply gorgeous, morning walks with the dog down at Poppitt beach, canoeing in the sea , be careful of outgoing tides, and lots of places to visit in an hours or so drive from the cottage. Pretty much all you need, if youre thinking about Estuary View just book it you wont be disappointed

We very much enjoyed our week at Estuary View. It is a spacious, comfortable cottage with rustic furnishings. The kitchen is the only thing that lets the cottage down as it is a bit shabby and could do with refurbishing. What really sets this cottage apart though is the location and superb view of the estuary, which is actually better than it looks in the website pictures! The terrace is a lovely place to sit and admire it, especially from the hot tub. Our dogs definitely appreciated the extensive woodland grounds which were perfect for them to let off steam. The location is great for visiting the area, with many walking opportunities on the doorstep. With lovely weather for September, our holiday was everything we hoped it would be.

Could do with a new BBQ and more teaspoons! Kitchen units need a makeover. Otherwise - excellent. Patio, glazed screen and french windows superb with fantastic and ever changing views across the estuary. Poppit sands beach one of the best anywhere - really good sand and not over populated even on a sunny day (dog friendly). Cardigan is a fun place to visit and large Tesco sells all the basics.
