Great place to stay although you do need a car to visit other places when you have exhausted the local lovely walks. We would definitely return to this lovely cottage with a very comfy bed!We found a delightful village with stunning estuary walks called Newport and only ten minutes drive away.St David’s Tenby and Saundersfoot are less than an hour away so something for everyone.Good value cottage particularly if there are four or six in your party.Cant wait to return! The cottage was exactly as described, beautifully refurbished and well equipped. We were very impressed by the quantity of logs provided for wood burning stoves. We were warm and comfortable and had plenty of space. The location is beautiful but the amenities close to the cottage were limited (the pub was closed the evening we decided to go for a drink). However (apart from the pub closing) we were aware that there were not shops etc in the immediate vicinity. The car parking was tight although we only had one small car. We appreciated the little diagram of where to park. People with larger cars might struggle. However overall we were delighted with our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone. We would have appreciated some information on the history of the cottage and how it has changed over the years.

Loved the place. Well kitted out. Comfy beds. Great to sit in the garden overlooking the harbour, sipping wine in the evening sun. Lower Fishguard is delightful. Pembrokeshire is beautiful. Great walking country. Nothing negative to say but if you are a telly lover you may struggle to get a decent reception.

Lovely location overlooking the harbour, and comfortable, spacious but cosy accommodation. Plenty to do in the area, with lovely walks, beaches and places to visit.

Really nice cottage, in a beautiful location. The only negative point was I do not think the cleaner is good, beds are clean but the cottage was superficially cleaned with the kitchen floor and cooker really dirty. It took us 2 h to clean it.

A lovely clean cottage next to a nice harbour that made for a relaxing break. The parking was the biggest issue, whilst there is space for 2 cars it made it very difficult to get in and out due to the step hill and position of neighbours parked car. The cottage was lovely and big and upstairs was finished nicely, lovely comfy beds. Downstairs felt it lacked a little personality. The owners where very helpful with a couple of slight issues, dealt with very quickly. Outside was nice, however its a shame the trees opposite blocked the view of the harbour a bit, nothing the owners can do but still a shame.

We had great weather and the cottage was fantastic - the dogs had a great time too. However, it would have been great if the garden had a gate to keep it secure.

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your kind comments and I'm glad you had a lovely holiday. We are going to put up a gate at the end of this season, the reason this hasn't been done before is that 2 neighbors have right of way to access their gardens above ours, but we've discussed with them and they are fine with it. Hopefully we'll be able to welcome you again.
