Description

A charming retreat for families or couples, this delightful holiday cottage is close to the beach and many attractions.

Nestled beautifully down a quiet country lane in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this holiday cottage has been carefully restored to a high standard, retaining much of its original character. The former barn, dating back to the early 19th century, has been beautifully converted into a delightful retreat for both families and couples. The open plan living area has been decorated with a rustic charm using neutral tones. It features exposed beams and a traditional wood-burning stove for cosy nights in. Outside, relax in the private garden and enjoy alfresco dining, or stroll in the nearby scenic Stackpole Estate (NT) and discover its fantastic walks and beautiful sites including the glistening Bosherston Lily Ponds, famous for its otters and water lilies, and the stunning beaches at Broadhaven and Barafundle, with their golden sands and crystal blue waters.
The historic walled town of Pembroke is just 3 miles away and features a magnificent Norman castle, which is famous as the birthplace of Henry VII. The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses. It has a variety of boutique gift shops, traditional pubs and highly acclaimed restaurants.
Take a boat trip to the historic island of Caldey, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years. Away from the coast, explore the rolling hills of Preseli and discover its ancient sites dotted along its rugged terrain, or visit the market town of Narbeth, with its antique shops, art galleries and numerous cafés and tasteful restaurants. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
Honeysuckle Cottage (ref UKC3194) can be booked together with Swallow Barn (ref OW2) and Valley View Barn (ref RA3) to accommodate up to 12 guests.

Beautiful cottage, in a quiet location. We had two wonderful weeks in superb weather. Anything we would change? Yes, please, some blinds at the Velux skylights. The sun into the kitchen was intense. NOT CRITICISM, but comment. We will go back!!

Lovely Cottage, although a bit to remote for us, Bed was too soft, and too many spiders all over the cottage nice enclosed garden for the dogs

Lovely cottage -comfortable sofas; well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms - cottage was warm with a beautiful log burner - all logs provided. Lots to see in local area -a car is a must. Score of '7' reflects very uncomfortable / unsupportive mattress on double bed and a smell of dog when we arrived.

A comfortable cottage and very dog friendly. Would like to be closer to local amenities. The cottage was a little difficult to find. Drawback with no phone service but good internet connection. Good sized rooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice enclosed garden for the dog.
