Windermere, Ambleside, Hawkshead, Grasmere and Beatrix Potter’s Sawrey are within a scenic drive giving stunning views of mountains and lakes in every direction. Superb visitor attractions such as the Lakeland Motor Museum, Dalton Wild Animal Park with its Sumatran tigers, Aquarium of the Lakes and the Haverthwaite to Lakeside Steam Railway at Lakeside are easily accessible.
