First impressions were very good. Great looking barn conversion with very nice views of open countryside. Had a good impression of the interior initially too. But then things went downhill. Primary downside was the double bed on the first floor; it was so uncomfortable due to it being (presumably) old as the springs seemed worn out; it offered no support. I could not sleep on it so moved to the single bed on the ground floor. Then the second problem presented itself; the security light outside the property was on throughout the night (not motion sensor activated) and the light shone into the property. Not good with thin white curtains. We were also disappointed that there was no basic toiletries provided such as hand-soap in the bathrooms and no simple condiments (Salt & Pepper) in the kitchen. It's a real shame because the property has fantastic potential and, with a few tweaks and minor investment, could be a great holiday property. Main action point is, replace the mattress for the double bed!!

Nice cottage in good location with great view. Could do with a bit more attention to equipment and furniture/layout. More small pans, pyrex jog and cooking casserole and j-cloths plus extra seat for clothes overnight in upper bedroom.
