Skye Fall is a waterfront cottage situated on the shore of Loch Lochy, just off the A82 in Letterfinlay. The property maximises on unbelievable views out over the water, having the living area on the first floor. Climb the stairs and enter into the spacious living room/kitchen, featuring high ceilings, chandelier and panoramic windows.
The contemporary oak kitchen is fitted with every modern convenience, including coffee machine, dishwasher and full-sized fridge freezer. The living room has comfortable seating for six people with sofas set around a welcoming wood burner, and has patio doors leading out onto the balcony. Unwind in front of the large, wall-mounted TV with sound system and DVD player, choosing from the selection of DVDs provided. Just off the kitchen lies the master en-suite bedroom with a kingsize bed and own comfy seating area, which again opens out onto its own private balcony, with the added bonus of a telescope to spot for deer across in the Glen.
Downstairs, enter into the hallway which leads onto the dining room seating up to six guests, and the remaining two en-suite bedrooms either side. The two principal bedroom suites feature 32" televisions and relaxing seating areas. Both rooms also lead onto a decked area outside overlooking the loch. Outside there is a fenced lawn area in front, seating and barbecue area, and not forgetting, your own private beach area for your enjoyment.
Letterfinlay is a fantastic base to explore the local area, which is packed with things to do throughout the year, from winter skiing at Nevis Range, just 13 miles away, to a cruise along Loch Linnhe spotting for seals in the summer. There are numerous other things to enjoy, including the Ben Nevis Distillery, Jacobite Steam Train or looking for ’Nessie’ on the shores of Loch Ness, and many more. There are good local amenities, with the pub within walking distance and the nearest shop just a few miles along the road in Spean Bridge. Beach 1 mile. Shop 8 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
