Along with three former, above ground bunkers, there is accommodation to suit individuals as well as a large group. The Tower (ref: UKC1178) has double bedrooms on three floors with the living room located on the fourth floor, boasting stunning 360° views. Hurricane (ref: UKC1179), Lancaster (ref: UKC1180) and Spitfire (ref: UKC1181) offer comfortable, single-storey accommodation, ideal for a family holiday or a break away for friends.
Great fun for the younger ones is the additional quirky feature of the Westland Lynx helicopter, set within the grounds of RAF Wainfleet. With a double bed, mini-fridge and TV, guests can book this direct with the owner, in addition to their main accommodation, for just £35 per night.
The bombing range, which The Tower was built to observe, first came in to use in the 1890s as an army artillery range and becoming a bombing range in 1938, which is where The Dambusters practised during WWII. You can still see the ships that were used as targets until 2009.
The land and marshes around are abundant with wildlife and great for dog friendly walks. It is possible to walk along the old sea banks to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve with its visitors centre. Inland, Friskney offers a village shop as well as the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park which is home to ten tigers amongst other wild animals. There is a pub serving good food and drink at the end of the lane and the visitors centre at Batemans Brewery is just 3 miles and away always worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 8 miles away and Boston, with the famous St Botolph’s Church, which boasts an extraordinarily tall tower, known as the Boston Stump being 14 miles away. Beach 8 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 22 guests.

Fantastic building. Lots of space. Incredible views and skies from the lounge. Definitely got the Wow!’ factor. Luxury bathrooms. Very clean and well equipped. Lots of stairs (obviously!) to keep you fit. Lovely private hot tub. Pool, darts and table tennis in games room. Owners really friendly and helpful. We were there through a storm but all still warm and cosy. A very relaxing weekend :)

The awesomeness of staying at such a fantastic place with wonderful views far outweighs any little niggles you can find with the place. That being said it was clean, comfortable and we would totally stay there again.

Fantastic location, we took our bikes & cycled to Skeggy! Sunsets & sunrises make the most amazing photo opportunites. Josh (our meeter & greeter) is a diamond, going out of the way to help. Nearest shop is around 4 miles away for newspapers/provisions. Only teeny thing that would make it a 110% review, please be aware to take your own tea/coffee etc as no welcome pack is provided. We realise this isn't advertised so is in no way a black mark against the owners Ps:, you got to be fit but the views make the stairs worth while.!

Views were gorgeous, the area was quiet, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend the Tower as a excellent base. The Bateman Brewery is well worth a visit, as is Skegness.

Unique location to experience. Property clean and well presented. Hot tub was a great addition. Kitchen has lots of equipment but could benefit from some more mugs/glasses. Mattresses are very soft. Would be nice to have some recycling facilities.

An amazing, unique and comfortable place to stay. The owners very helpful even during the terrible weather that the area suffered that week. Lots of walks locally, fantastic 360 views from the top of the tower, we were converted into hot tub users and enjoyed the helicopter. Cant endorse this place enough !

A wonderfully unique place to stay. Well equipped kitchen and very clean throughout. Brilliant views across the landscape from the top floor lounge - we spent hours just watching the wildlife, farming activity and brilliant sunsets without leaving the lounge! We did think the steps would be an issue but by the end of the week we were tripping up them without any loss of breath and felt so much fitter for all the exercise! Will is a brilliant host, so accommodating and personable - nothing ever appears to be too much trouble for him. The hot tub was the best we have experienced in all the places we have visited, set in a secluded garden which was also very secure for our dog. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone (however we wont be recommending it as we want to keep it a secret from everyone so we can secure another visit!)

Spent the most peaceful and relaxing holiday in years in the peace of the Lincolnshire Fens, watching the Simpsons clouds roll past in the big sky. Best views for miles around, coupled with a most interesting building and fantastic history. Only the iffy weather in early May 2019 prevented us using the hot-tub even more. I've showed the pictures to friends and the universal reaction is "Wow!" My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Amazing accommodation, very different from anything we have stayed in before. The Tower exceeded our expectations as a holiday destination. Stunning views and welcoming owners, we definitely plan to visit again. The opportunity for a night in a Lynx helicopter added to our memories of a wonderful holiday.

If you are looking for accommodation that is quirky and away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life then this is just perfect. You can come here and totally switch off. The views from the top of the tower are amazing. Both the tea room and local pub at the top of the road offer a very friendly service and a great selection of food. Tesco are able to deliver an online grocery shop if you prefer to stay in. Will almost definitely be back.
